A well-established manufacturing company based in Derby, is currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team. Reporting into the Finance Director, your main duties as Assistant Accountant will include:
- Supervising the finance team in the absence of the Finance Director
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Accruals/Prepayments
- Nominal Ledger
- VAT Returns
- Fixed Assets
- Assisting with budgets
- Intrastats
- Monthly reporting
- Producing Profit and Loss
- Year end work
- Assisting the Finance Director with various ad hoc duties and projects
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic business. Salary is £30,000 – £32,000 depending on experience, 25 days holiday and free parking.
